BP Machines BP cuff size in Kenya
Measure the bare upper arm. Do not guess from clothing size.
Most Kenyan adults fit a 22-32 cm adult cuff. That is the cuff on the KSh 2,500 digital arm machine and the Omron M1 Basic. If the tape is wider, buy the Yuwell extra-large cuff unit at KSh 3,500.
How to measure
- Bare upper arm, halfway between shoulder and elbow.
- Tape snug, not tight.
- Match the centimetres to the cuff label, not to your shirt size.
What a wrong cuff does
A small cuff on a large arm reads high. A large cuff on a thin arm can read low. That is the usual reason two shops "disagree" on a home reading.
Spare cuffs: WhatsApp the machine name. We stock adult cuffs around the same price band as the Jomex cuff list (about KSh 1,500).
